“For the Elderly” (Ps. 37:25)

For many of us as we face the sunset of our life we grow weary and sometimes afraid. God’s Holy Word addresses this very time. Please allow these scriptures to bring peace and comfort to your seasoned life.

“I have been young, and now am old; yet have I not seen the righteous forsaken, nor His seed begging bread.” Psalm 37:25.

“The Lord preserveth all of them who love Him, but all the wicked He will destroy.” Psalm 145:20.

“For he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.” Hebrews 13:5.

“The glory of young men is in their strength: and the beauty of the old man is in the grey head.” Proverbs 20:29.

“It is of the Lord’s mercies that we are not consumed, because His compassions fell not. They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness.” Lamentations 3:22,23.

As we face the closing days of our lives, look back with great joy at the time God has given us here on earth. When you feel lonely or depressed remember the scriptures above as God comforts us through His Holy Word.
