Dear Humbard Family: I want to praise God for sending you to help us through our troubles and problems this past month. As we sent our gift to your ministry, I prayed that God would bless it and supply our needs, and that He would use our gift to help spread the Gospel through your outreach. I found out that we have to give in order to receive. As we sowed our seed of Faith, God has supplied our harvest and answers to our prayers.
I can remember 1973 when I gave my heart to Jesus after your mother sang Amazing Grace and your father preached a powerful message about salvation. I have been an evangelist all these years and will treasure the dvds I will be getting. We met in Akron 35 years ago Rex Jr. at the old Cathedral. I was a long haired, long bearded hippy back then and you and your family treated me and my wife (then just married)so wonderful. Hal Lindsey was just a young preacher back then and was the guest for the weekend we were there ... God bless these holy memories.
I am from Canada. I am a 50 year’s old now. It seems like a life time ago when I was 11. I remember sneaking out of bed, so my alcoholic God hating parents would not awaken; turning on that TV, by a pull knob not a remote, and watching Rex and his family. One time in particular his ending caught my soul. He asked a question. If I knew where I would go after I died? Hmmm I did not! I prayed the sinners prayer with him. Being 11, with no understanding, I deemed it as a ineffective prayer, because this God he talked about did not hit me with anything; no feeling, no bolt of lightening. So I skipped off outside to play. Well, by the time I had my first child, at the age of 22, I did not want her to grow up without a Godly presence. I wanted to be the best mother I could be, unlike mine. My first instinct, because of Rex ,was to go to Gods word and find out just how a woman would do this. I gave my life to Christ, with understanding this time and never looked back. Just want to say to his Children, your dad planted seeds that you just won’t understand till eternity. I wanted so much to be a part of your loving family. Compared to my family it looked so nice and happy. Today all 4 of my children love Jesus and we are praying for the grandchildren. Rex will have sewn seeds of Salvation 3 generations deep. Just wanted to tell Rex and Maude Aimee’s family this. I know there are many who must contact you all the time with a story like this. I had no other Godly influence in my home. Your family on Sunday morning was it for me. I pray God blesses you in all your family's efforts to reach lost souls.
Rex Humbard first touched my life when I was in high school and he and the Humbard family came to my home church in Oakland, California. During that series of meetings I was baptized in the Holy Spirit. Beyond that beginning, and over the many years following, Rex became a model in character and in pace-setting ministry for hosts of pastors who, like I, remain grateful for him to this day.
I have heard, seen, and read about Rex Humbard for as long as I have been a Christian. And I have been privileged to be a friend to Rex and Maude Aimee for a number of years. Every time I sit with this precious couple in their living room or spend time with them on the This Is Your Day! or Manna from Heaven studio set or stand with them on a crusade stage, I am reminded of the tremendous history and soul-winning legacy they embody. As you read the chapters of this remarkable book, you will realize, more than ever, what a blessing the Humbard family is to the body of Christ. You will also get to witness the history of evangelism during the twentieth century and take the journey of a lifetime with these pioneers of the faith!

Dear Humbard family I found Jesus through Rex Humbard ministry when Rex Humbard was on TV in the year of 1978. Today for the first time I heard about honoring my elder\'s and Thought I wonder if Rex Humbard is still around I would sure love to tell Him that I came to know Jesus because of his ministry. I remember hearing for the very first time about the death and resurrection of our Savior and thinking this is the first time I have heard this going to the church and giving my heart to Jesus. I just want to say thank you right now tell you how much I love and appreciate you.
I know Rex is no longer with us here to hear this message on earth, but I felt compelled to share the impact his work has had on my life. My grandparents bought be a Bible printed by Humbard Ministries when I was 10 years old in 1988. I barely used it until this past year when his reflections on prayer and prophecy have blessed me so dearly and touched my heart. Of course God\'s Word has indelibly changed my Spirit and Identity forever. I thank him for this with all my love and Spirit. His heart for God was clear in his work and I pray all God\'s Blessings and will be accomplished through your ministries. Thanks again in the Spirit of Our Loving God
Hi Rex, I wanted to take a minute and thank you and your family for the blessing you have been all of my life. Your dad is my hero till this day. I built a great church in the Birmingham area due to a great part of his influence in my life. Bob Harrington spoke at my church after he came back to the Lord and he said your dad saved his life and it gave him a 2nd chance to serve the Lord. Bob arranged a call for me with your dad and it will be a conversation I will cherish forever. I have all of the albums the Humbards and church recorded and yes all of yours too, which I enjoy to this day. Thank you for your lives....it really blessed a guy in Alabama. I am not pastoring now but work for a hospital in Patient Advocate care at UAB Hospital in Birmingham but I will treasure your ministry forever.....no ministry will every compare to your dad's and his family. I would love to see the programs continue on Direct TV that I watch every Sunday afternoon. The church service programs from the 70's would be such a blessing if you could air them too. Please consider that. You are Loved!
Hi Rex, I simply wanted to write and thank you for your father’s ministry. As a child, I would watch the television program every Sunday morning as I got ready to attend my local church. One of my fondest childhood memories was one summer vacation (in the 70’s) when my parents took me to the Cathedral of Tomorrow. We’d never seen anything like it. I trusted Christ at 15 years old, and have belonged to a few churches. A couple of them were larger that the Cathedral, and often, when I think of many of today’s “megachurches”, I think of the Cathedral and ay to myself, “Rex Humbard was a man way ahead of his time!” Many blessings. I hope that you and all of the Humbard family are well. You REALLY did make a difference with the life God gave you.
Dear Rex Humbard Ministry, I just wanted to drop a note sharing a testimony and thanks . . . For my entire life, I have grown up hearing a story from my mom about how she dedicated me to the Lord in front of her television set. 🙂 In the winter of 1977/1978, my mom had just recommitted her life to Christ. But in a rural community, without transportation, and with a husband who didn't yet know Jesus, she had no way to go to church. So she would tune in to church on television when possible. One day, when I was just a few months old, she was watching one of your broadcasts in our little trailer house. As Pastor Humbard did a baby dedication on the television, my mom took me in her arms and knelt in front of the TV to also dedicate me. As she laid one hand on the television set and held me with the other, Pastor Humbard prayed and she felt the power of God in a wave that went right through her. She knew something significant had happened in that moment. Though I have grown up hearing that story, I never knew the name of the evangelist/program until recently. So today, I looked your ministry up online and wanted to send on this testimony and thanks. In spite of many hardships, my mom kept the commitment she made that day and raised me to love Jesus and pursue His plans. Today, I'm 36 years old and have been a pastor for all of my adult life. Currently, I'm serving as the state youth director for the Assemblies of God in North Dakota. I am so grateful that 36 years ago a ministry had a broadcast so that a 27 year old baby Christian could dedicate her infant daughter to Jesus. Thanks for your ministry.
We wish you very blessed Happy Independence Day. Today we prayed for you, your country and your coming elections. We Prayed. May God bless America and its people who are great source of blessings for the poor world May peace prevail in USA and rest of the world We Prayed for the those who are away from Christ, May God touch their hearts and bless them with strong Faith May Christ be High in all USA May God bless you, your family and America.
