17 Oct “When We Feel Depressed” (Ps. 30:5)
“Weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning.” (Psalm 30:5)
When you feel lonely or depressed please read these scriptures that will help you through your troubled times.
“Beloved, think is not strange concerning the trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened to you. But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ’s sufferings; that, when his glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy.” I Peter 4:12,13.
“Fear thou not: for I am with you: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.” Isaiah 41:10.
“I will not leave you comfortless; I will come to you.” John 14:18.
“Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction and faithful in prayer…” Romans 12:12.
Beloved, these scriptures should find a place in your hurting and depressed heart. Remember “When you reach the end of your rope, you will find the hem of His garment.”
